Once all the facts are in place, I sit down at my computer and start typing words into sentences and then into paragraphs.

Just type a question or idea into Google’s search bar to see what shows up.

For instance, if you want to blog about indoor gardening, type something like “How to grow herbs indoors” in Google.

Google’s cool because it tries to finish what you’re typing with things people actually search for. You’ll see this when you start typing.

Google gives lots of blog topic ideas. To see which topics people search for most, use Ubersuggest.

You get 3 free searches a month there. Just type in your idea and check the search numbers.

You can also use tools like SeRanking or SerpWatcher for serious keyword searching.

For example, you might find that “How to grow herbs indoors” gets 1600 searches a month in Ubersuggest.

As a new blogger, it’s hard to rank for popular terms because bigger blogs might (most likely) outrank you.

Try less common terms that are easier to rank for.
